Overview

When logging into Accentis Enterprise, users can select to either login with a full licence or a view only licence. To restrict this so that they can only log in as view only without adjusting their actual permissions within the database, you can edit the parameters in the Accentis Enterprise shortcut.

Process

  1. Locate the shortcut that is used to log in.
  2. Right-click it and select properties.
  3. In the Target field, type "-v" at the end.

  1. Select Apply to save your changes.

This process restricts the Log in button when users login via this shortcut, meaning only the View only button is available.
