Why can't I find my item code if it has certain punctuation characters?

KB528

Quick Answer

The punctuation characters are being treated as wildcards.

Overview

To make searching within the system easier, Accentis Enterprise uses certain punctuation characters to represent wildcards.

This means that if you are trying to search for an item code that contains any of these punctuation characters, Accentis Enterprise may provide you with additional results, or exclude the intended item code entirely.

For more information regarding advice for item codes, please see Inventory Coding Guidelines.
