How to fix "Date format" errors
Overview
As with many programs, Accentis takes its date and region information from the Windows settings on your computer. Sometimes, with Windows updates or changes, the language, region, and dates become mismatched. This will trigger an error in Accentis when you try to log in.
There is a simple fix for this issue which will realign the region and date formats within Windows.
Process
- Go into your computer’s Time & Language settings.
- Go into the Region settings and confirm that the date format is correct.
- Set the Region to any country other than your own (e.g., US) and Update.
- Go back into the Region settings and set the Region back to your own country (e.g., AU).
- Click Update.
This forces the system to realign itself to the correct region settings – like power cycling a device. You should now be able to log in to Accentis.
