How to add a suburb to address fields

Overview

When entering a suburb or postcode into an address field, Accentis Enterprise allows you to select from a list of auto-filled results. Occasionally, you may find that the desired suburb or postcode is not yet defined in Accentis Enterprise, especially with newly drawn or subdivided suburbs. When this happens, you have the option to define a new one manually.

There is an official list of postcodes available for business use from Australia Post located on their website here.

Defining a new suburb

  1. From the toolbar, press CTRL+SHIFT+R and run search SA4379 – Postcode listing.
  2. Select Refresh to show the current list of defined suburbs and postcodes.
  3. Select <new> from the Suburb column to launch the Postcode data management window.
  4. Enter the details for the suburb and select Run.
    1. If you make a mistake, existing suburbs and postcodes can be edited and deleted from SA4379 – Postcode listing.
