Database history
The Database history facility provides a way for uses to view changes that have occurred to a database and to add their own records detailing any changes, problems or other issues relating to the database as a whole.
Whenever a database changes, be it the structure or use, a database history record should be added. This will then allow a user a see what changes have occurred and when.
When the use of the Database Upgrade facility causes changes to the structure of a database, a database history record will automatically be added to the database.
- No practical limit to the number of database history entries that can be added
- Each database history entry date and time stamped
- Upgrade tool automatically adds database history entries
