Overview
Within Accentis Enterprise, you can choose to enforce minimum password complexity requirements for users in your database by enabling the Enforce password complexity checkbox on the Users form.
By default, when a user with password complexity enabled attempts to reset their password, their new password will first be checked against the pre-defined rules that are standard for every database.
The default rules are:
- Minimum 8 characters.
- At least one uppercase character.
- At least one lowercase character.
- At least one number.
You can, however, modify your password complexity requirements by having custom rules created in your databases by our Support team - tailored to your organisation's security preferences.
If you would like to have custom rules created, please contact our Support team at [email protected].
