Why can't I see any data in my Human resource list?
Overview
If you are attempting to view information in the Human resources form but there is no data appearing in the Human resources list, even though you have Read permissions, the system preference Restrict non-admin HR users from viewing data that is not in their own HR group may be enabled.
To correct this, you have three options. You can:
- Untick this option to allow all users with Read permissions to the Human resources function to view all data.
- Be assigned Administrator permissions to the Human resources function so you can view all data.
- Be assigned to the relevant H / R Group for the data that you need to view.
HR groups and disabling the system preference
Restrict non-admin HR users from viewing data that is not in their own HR group (Payroll > Setup > Preferences…) is designed to allow managers to view records of a specific HR group without being able to see records of other groups. If this option is enabled, you won’t be able to view HR records that aren’t in the same HR group as you unless you have administrator permissions.
This also means that unless you are an admin, if you don’t have an HR record linked to an Employees record which is assigned to your User profile, you won’t be able to view any HR data because Accentis will not be able to determine your HR group.
Being assigned Administrator permissions
If you are assigned Administrator permissions to the Human resources function from the Permissions form (System > Users > Permissions…), you will be able to view all data in the Human resources form.
You may not have access to modify these permissions yourself, in which case you will need to request this from the person who manages Accentis permissions within your organisation.
